This Privacy Policy explains how Cash In Control, LLC (“Cash In Control,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through our website, located at www.cashincontrol.com (the “website”) and our software-as-a-service platform at the website (the “service”).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
Account and Login Information
We collect information needed to create, secure, and administer user accounts, such as name, business name, business email address, password or authentication credentials, login activity, and related security information.
Payment and Billing Information
We collect information needed to process subscriptions, payments, invoices, and billing records. Payment information is processed by our payment processor.
QuickBooks and Accounting Information
When a business customer connects QuickBooks or uploads accounting files, we collect the information authorized by that customer. This may include business financial information, accounting records, customer names, vendor names, compensation information, transaction details, invoices, expenses, reports, and other information contained in or derived from the customer’s accounting system or uploaded files.
Some QuickBooks or accounting data may include personal information about third parties, such as customers, vendors, employees, contractors, or other individuals reflected in the business customer’s records.
Usage, Device, and Analytics Information
We collect information about how users access and use the website and service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, features used, referring pages, session activity, and approximate location derived from IP address.
We use necessary cookies and analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, to operate the service, understand usage, improve performance, and evaluate our marketing and product effectiveness.
Communications and Marketing Information
We collect information when users contact us, request support, respond to communications, subscribe to updates, or interact with our marketing emails. Users may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
2. How We Use Information

authenticate users and protect accounts;
connect to QuickBooks and import authorized accounting information;
process uploaded accounting files;
generate financial reports, insights, and recommendations;
provide customer support;
process payments and manage billing;

monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve service performance;
protect against fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access;
comply with legal obligations; and
enforce our agreements and policies.
We do not use customer accounting data, QuickBooks data, uploaded files, or report outputs to train or improve AI models. We also do not permit our service providers to use that data to train their general-purpose AI models.
The reports and recommendations generated through the service are informational business tools. The service does not make automated decisions that produce legal opinions. accounting counsel or similarly significant advice.
3. QuickBooks Connection and File Uploads
Customers may provide accounting data by connecting QuickBooks through an authorized connection or by uploading files. The customer controls whether to authorize a QuickBooks connection or upload files.
If a customer disconnects QuickBooks, the service will stop importing future QuickBooks data. Disconnecting QuickBooks does not automatically delete information that was previously imported. Customers may request deletion as described below.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
hosting, infrastructure, and other service providers;
AI processing providers used to help support the preparation of reports and recommendations;
Intuit/QuickBooks, when a customer connects or uses QuickBooks-related features;
cloud storage and database providers;
payment processors;
email and communications providers;
customer support providers;
analytics providers, including Google Analytics;
security, monitoring, and error-logging providers;
professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and auditors;
government authorities or other parties when required by law or legal process;
parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; and
other parties at the customer’s direction or with the customer’s authorization.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Do Not Track
We use necessary cookies to operate the website and service and analytics cookies to understand usage and improve our service. We use Google Analytics for analytics purposes.
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about users’ online activities over time and across different websites or online services through our website or service. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising pixels.
6. Reviewing, Deleting or Changing Information
Users who want to review, update, correct, or request deletion of account information and the Information We Collect may contact us at contact@cashincontrol.com.
For security, we will verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting on a request. If the request concerns information contained in a business customer’s QuickBooks or accounting data, we may refer the request to the applicable business customer or work with that customer to respond.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, operate accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.
After termination of a customer account, we delete customer data in accordance with our standard deletion process, except that we may retain information for a period in backups, logs, billing records, legal records, or where retention is required or permitted by law.
8. Security
We use industry standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for ensuring that only authorized owners and administrators access the website and service.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above.
